Remarkable tin litho friction drive European "Polis" Volkswagen Karman Ghia two door coupe. Vehicle is complete with both movable, emergency roof lights, hood mounted bull horn speaker, and red tipped coil spring antenna. Comes complete with original box. Awesome toy consists of a European style two door coupe Police car. All embossed. Interior and roof are tin litho. Hub caps also tin litho and include VW logo in their center. Twin emergency roof lights move right and left as car advances. Chassis is single plate. Chrome plated accessories include head lights, fog lights, front bumper, windshield frame, roof light housings, and rear bumper. Coil antenna is metal with red plastic tip. Tail lights, emergency lights, and hood mounted speaker are also plastic. Tires are solid rubber. Windshields are blue tinted celluloid. Rear license plate lithoed "KARMANN". Box features cover-wide illustration of the Police car minus some of the black details. A ¾ perspective illustration is printed on the two long side panels. Size: 8". Sold: Aug. 2006
